Fellowes Gel Flex Transparent Mini Wrist Rest (Blue Crystal) Review

For the past year I've had fairly bad wrist pain from using computers. My first major in college was Web Design and it was pretty much required that I use a computer for about 14 hours a day!Aside from school and personal computer use, the job that I work at requires typing and using a computer as well, so using one is unavoidible for myself.I used to have one of those bean filled wrist rests. It did absolutely nothing, and it wound up being used to throw back and forth across the room between me and my roommate.

The Fellowes Gel Flex Wrist rest works better then a bean filled one because it is FIRM and stays firm! The bean filled ones sag after you have your wrist resting on it for long periods of time. The Fellowes wrist rest worked instantly when I first used it.Plus, it's pretty and fun to poke it because it's squishy.I highly reccommend it, and I definitely am going to pick up the keyboard rest!

3M Office Gel Wrist Rest for Keyboards ( WR302MB ) Review

I'm currently using the wrist rest to write this review, and it's providing decent support at my desk.If you are looking for a cushy rest that your wrists will sink in to, avoid this rest as the gel inside is firm and does not budge much with use.The rest slides around a bit over the course of a long day, but actually stays put better (due to its heftier weight) than some other wrist rests I've used.

As wrist support is extremely important for someone using a computer for long periods every day, I'm pleased with the purchase as it's keeping my hands off the desk. It's also flat on one side (so it can be snuggled against the keyboard), but unfortunately the size of my hands forces the rest has to be pushed back a distance.

Overall, select a rest based on how much 'give' you'd like.If firm is your style, buy this one.Otherwise, look at some of the other offerings on the site.

Fellowes Purple Gel Crystal Flex Rest Transparent Mini Wrist Rest Review

Just kidding. I borrowed it. Long term. Really. GRIN. Anyway, I like the fellowes gel pad. I use it in conjunction with the vertical mouse. It has a nice smooth, but firm feel which cushions my arm as I use my mouse. It has a slightly tacky base which helps it stay put when I move my arm around. It also is quite attractive color. In short, it works great. 5 stars.

Allsop 27021 Metal Art Jr Monitor Stand (Pewter) Review

If you own a laptop and use an external LCD monitor or you are just looking to sneak some small peripherals or desk accessories beneath your monitor or an inkjet printer, look no further. The MetalArt Jr. is a classy alternative to molded plastic stands intended for beafier CRT monitors. I ordered the product to use as a stand for a 17" LCD monitor. Not only does it raise the monitor to the ideal height, but it is spaced perfectly to store my IBM T40 laptop and docking station neatly beneath. The perforated metal at the top of the stand allows air to flow freely and keeps both the laptop and monitor cool.
The description doesn't give the dimensions of the stand, which are very important since its size is not traditional, so I'll list them here (from the manufacturer): 11" x 15" x 4.5".

Product Description:
Strange, but true - not every desk is designed with a computer in mind. I know it is hard to believe in this day and age, but whatever. And what about those of you using a countertop or table as a computer desk? Sure the computer will fit - the monitor goes behind the keyboard, the CPU goes , well, the CPU goes wherever the wires allow. You can just pull up a folding chair and start clicking away. But that does not sound very appealing, does it? No ergonomics there. The Metal Art Jr. helps your computer fit into your life. Both in function and in form. Forged from steel, it provides a sturdy shelf for your monitor or printer. And there-s space beneath for your keyboard or other office supplies. Its compact base makes it perfect for flat panel monitors and even laptops. The simple curved design and powder-coated finish aren-t meant to match your computer. They help create a balance between the comfortable feel of your home or office and the technical convenience of your computer. In a nutshell, the Metal Art Jr. gives your monitor or laptop a lift and looks good doing it.

Kensington Wrist Pillow Extended Platform, Keyboard and Mousepad Wrist Rest in Black (L36822US) Review

Have used for over a year now. It works for both the mouse and the keyboard -- regardless if you are left- or right-handed -- and keeps them from unwanted sliding around.

It will not leak like a gel wrist rest, and does not permanently "indent" if you absentmindedly lean on it with an elbow.

In my opinion the cushion seemed a little too high for mousing, so I've inserted two old extra mousepads between the mouse and the platform. Otherwise, perfect!
