This product is OK if you just want to replace the desk pad paper that has gotten dirty, but it is not "blotting" paper in the true sense of the word.Water just beads up on the paper.It is not absorbent at all.It's OK to jot notes on, etc, but if you use a fountain pen this product isn't what you need.
